Iceland - Aerial
Aerial images including from the southern tip of Europe's largest glacier, Vatnajokull, in winter.
The first images are the sunset light on the icy Skeidara Glacier river delta, Svinafellsjokull (the longest and steepest glacier in Iceland), and over Oraefajokull, with Hvannadalshnjukur at 2110m the highest peak of Iceland. Photography here was challenging due to the diminishing light during the flight.
Other images were captured in the morning along the south coast to the Jokulsarlon area; the ice beach, the glacial lagoon, and Fjallsarlon. The final 2 drone images are of a dormant crater in the Highlands, and a natural lava pool on the south coast.
